I am German born, New York based cinematographer and visual storyteller.

Over the last decade I’ve had the pleasure to shoot both narrative films as well as commercial work.

Most recently I served as 2nd Unit DP on Adams Sandlers acclaimed ‘HUSTLE’ directed by Jeremiah Zagar and lensed by DP Zak Mulligan.

I also take a lot of pride in working on my own personal ‘passion’ projects that reach from experimental documentaries such as “WOLAKOTA”, "EROSION" or "RAGE" to abstract narratives like “THE LIGHT” to purely visual poems like "BALANCE", "STREETS" and "MOMENTS" or “THE PLACE WHERE”.

In any type of situation, whether it be a personal project with '“unlimited” time to shoot or a high stress client project with a super tight turn around - I am always looking to create something cinematic, emotional and interesting with my camera work.
There is an incredible amount of content out there these days. A lot of mediocre stories with poorly and randomly assembled imagery. There is also a fair amount of incredible stories - matched with very flat and unmotivated visuals. And then there are insanely beautiful pieces that are just completely lacking any content. Personally, I am looking for that sweet-spot of marrying the two - excellent storytelling combined with beautiful and cinematic visuals that let the viewer dive even deeper into the story and connect in a way that wouldn't otherwise be possible.
